As part of his thesis for the MSc Sound and Music Computing at Queen Mary University of London, Nikhil Bullock has ported the SuperCollider extension MIRLCa, developed by Anna Xambó, to the browser. The project was supervised by the same Anna, together with Panagiota Anastasopoulou, a PhD student from the Music Technology Group, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, who’s part of the Freesound team, and who visited C4DM-CSAL in March-June 2026.
You can read more about Nikhil’s project in this Freesound blog post: MIRLCa-web: Live-coding with Freesound in the web browser
